Happy "Mom-erial" Day!
Please take a moment to remember those who have died in military service for the United States. We appreciate these brave men and women who have laid down their lives. We thank their families for sharing these great Americans. We hope to never take for granted our liberties that your loved ones fought so courageously for. Our hearts are with you on this day of remembrance.
This day reflects the cost to be a free American and is more than a barbecue or summer kick-off, celebratory day. Let's honor those who gave their lives by pausing to remember the sacrifices people have made for our great nation's freedom. Every year on Memorial Day at 3:00pm local time, a national moment of remembrance takes place so let’s think about the service members who never made it home and say a prayer for their families. Some people wear a red poppy in remembrance of those fallen in war. Flags are flown half-staff from sunrise until noon (this is the only holiday). Just never forget.
Happy Momday and truly appreciate your freedoms that many have died protecting!

"In Flanders Fields" by John McCrae, May 1915
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
