Lappe Lesson #2 - How to Get "Moore" in Life

🎉Happy birthday, Kip Moore! 🎉

I bet my mom did not realize her daughter knew this date, SURPRISE!

(To be honest, I looked up his birthday after she surprised me with this Momday post to go Gaga over… And even "Moore" to my surprise, Kip's birthday was right around the corner… Actually thought it was an April Fools' Day joke it was so darn close!)

To be even more honest, I don't know much about Kip beyond the fact he's easy on the eyes. But thanks to the almighty Google, I found out Kip and I have "Moore" in common than I imagined…

We both share a love for donuts. We both like to be active. We both are comfortable being alone but not "lonely." We both have golf pro dads... Well, one of our dads… ;)

While I might not share a collection of memories with him, I undoubtedly know he's created them for my parents. They have traveled near and far to experience his music in action, and so much so I joke they need some sort of loyalty/punch card for "buy 5 concerts get 1 free" sort of deal - I am convinced they would have 5+ free concerts racked up by now…

Really, though, Kip has brought so much "Moore" than just concert tickets. He's inspired sightseeing and created lasting memories for my parents. He's shown life is much "Moore" than having “Beer Money” - it's about experiencing what each song and moment has to offer, while leaning onto each one and not taking them for granted.

So thank you for being born, Kip. I might not personally have a million reasons to remember you by but if you put a smile on my mom's face, you put one on mine.

And, honestly, getting "Moore" out of life is just that - finding happiness in not just your own life but finding it in others.
